President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel formally received His Excellency Mr. Eskindir Yirga Asfaw, the newly appointed extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Ethiopian Federal Democratic Republic, during a credentials ceremony at Prague Castle on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Ambassador Asfaw, who will serve from his diplomatic base in Berlin, presented his credentials to President Pavel, initiating his mission to enhance cooperation between Ethiopia and the Czech Republic.
