Canadian Embassy Joins Charter Against Domestic Violence

Emily McLaughlin, representing the Embassy of Canada, announced the Embassy’s commitment to combating domestic violence by signing the Charter Against Domestic Violence. The initiative brings together more than 60 signatory institutions dedicated to creating safer, more supportive workplace environments.

McLaughlin emphasized that domestic violence has a direct impact on the professional lives of victims and highlighted the importance of collective action in addressing the issue. The Embassy’s participation forms part of the broader #16Days campaign, reinforcing Canada’s dedication to human rights, gender equality, and workplace safety.
