Ambassador Matt Field welcomed friends and supporters of Prague Pride, which happens for over a decade in the Czech capital, bringing together dozens of thousands of supporters, to the British Embassy garden, celebrating those working to make the world a better place for the LGBT+ community.
He emphasized that Pride is not only a celebration but also an important moment to highlight the challenges faced by LGBT+ individuals: “Thank you for not staying silent. This is how change happens.” The British society and government have been having an important and steady position as defenders of LGBT+ issues.
