In a meeting reflecting the continued strength of Czech–U.S. defense relations, First Deputy Minister of Defence František Šulc and Director General Jan Jireš welcomed the new U.S. Chargé d’Affaires David Wisner (on the photo with a red tie in the middle-right) to discuss outcomes from the recent NATO Summit in The Hague in the first week of July. Their talks also focused on advancing bilateral defense-industrial cooperation and ongoing joint programs.
The U.S. delegation included Colonel Thomas Graham, Defense Attaché, and Matthew Briggs, Political-Military Officer. The exchange underscored both countries’ commitment to deepening strategic alignment and enhancing interoperability within the NATO framework.
