Barbara Tuge-Erecińska, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Republic of Poland in the Czech Republic, took part in a commemorative ceremony at the Senate of the Czech Parliament marking the anniversary of the liberation of the German Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.
The event was attended by representatives of multiple diplomatic missions and served as a solemn reminder of the victims of the Holocaust and the importance of preserving historical memory. The commemoration underscored a shared international commitment to remembrance, reflection, and the defense of human dignity and democratic values.
