Romania’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Antoaneta Barta, held a cordial meeting with Barbora Urbanová, the newly appointed chairwoman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Romania in the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic. 🇷🇴🤝🇨🇿
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the strong and growing partnership between Romania and the Czech Republic, as well as broader European and regional developments. Ambassador Barta welcomed the establishment of the new friendship group and expressed her appreciation for the Czech Parliament’s continued interest in maintaining close ties with Romania. Friendship groups within national parliaments often serve as valuable platforms for dialogue, enabling lawmakers to exchange views on political, economic, and cultural cooperation.
For her part, Urbanová reaffirmed her commitment to supporting constructive engagement with Romania and to further developing the partnership between Prague and Bucharest.
