The U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Nicholas Merrick (photo, second from left), visited the historic Lobkowicz Palace, describing the experience as both informative and inspiring. During the visit, the Ambassador learned more about the Lobkowicz family, who returned from the United States to Czechoslovakia in 1990 and have since played a key role in preserving and restoring important historical landmarks.
The visit also included a tour of the palace museum, which offers a comprehensive overview of Czech history and cultural heritage. The engagement underscored the enduring ties between the Czech Republic and the United States, as well as the shared commitment to the protection of cultural heritage and historical memory.
