At this year’s NATO Days in Ostrava, the U.S. Embassy in Prague joined President Petr Pavel in showcasing transatlantic cooperation and advanced defense capabilities, including the F-35 fighter aircraft.
Chargé d’affaires David Wisner underlined that as more allies adopt this key element of NATO air power, the alliance grows into a fully interoperable and connected coalition, ready to face shared security challenges. He also noted the program’s economic dimension, emphasizing that it will create new jobs and opportunities for both Czech and American companies, further strengthening the transatlantic bond.
