The Chargé d’affaires of the United States in Prague, David Wisner, took part in the final American football game of the season between the Prague Lions and the Helvetic Mercenaries. He had the honor of opening the match with the traditional coin toss, marking the Embassy’s support for cultural and sporting exchanges that bring communities together.
The Prague Lions went on to claim victory, closing their season on a high note. The event highlighted not only the growing popularity of American football in Czech lands but also the shared spirit of teamwork and camaraderie that strengthens U.S.–Czech ties beyond diplomacy.
