French Ambassador to the Czech Republic Stéphane Crouzat met with Marek Šimandl, Director General of the Czech Customs Administration, to present the candidacy of the city of Lille as the future seat of the European Customs Authority (EUCA).
The meeting provided an opportunity to outline Lille’s strengths as a strategic European hub and to discuss the broader role of customs cooperation within the European Union. The exchange reflected ongoing dialogue between France and Czechia on EU institutional development and reinforced bilateral engagement on matters of shared European interest.
