Ambassador Antoaneta Barta met with Miloš Vystrčil, Speaker of the Czech Senate, for discussions on bilateral relations and current regional developments. During the meeting, she conveyed her congratulations on the 30th anniversary of the Czech Senate, celebrated under the motto “Committed to Freedom.”
The exchange highlighted the shared democratic values of Romania and the Czech Republic, as well as their close cooperation within the European Union. The anniversary provided an opportunity to reflect on three decades of parliamentary democracy and the role of the Senate in upholding freedom, dialogue, and institutional stability.
