The newly appointed U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Prague, David Wisner (in a red tie/photo), met with Czech First Deputy Minister of Defence František Šulc (left/photo) and Director General Jan Jireš for strategic discussions on bilateral defense cooperation. The meeting followed the recent NATO Summit in The Hague and focused on deepening industrial defense collaboration and advancing joint defense programs.
Joining Mr. Wisner were Colonel Thomas Graham, U.S. Defense Attaché, and Political-Military Officer Matthew Briggs. The talks underscored the strength of the Czech–U.S. security partnership and the shared commitment to bolstering NATO’s collective defense and interoperability through sustained cooperation and mutual investment.
