H.E. Ambassador Berislav Vekić of Serbia (left/photo)held a meeting with Tomáš Suňog, Director of the Department for Southern and Southeastern Europe at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the first week of July. The discussion focused on key areas of cooperation, including bilateral relations, Serbia’s European integration process, and regional security—particularly the situation of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija (KiM).
Ambassador Vekić expressed Serbia’s appreciation for the Czech Republic’s continued support on its path toward EU membership. The meeting reaffirmed the strong diplomatic ties between the two countries and highlighted the importance of constructive dialogue and mutual cooperation in advancing stability and shared European goals.
