H.E. Ambassador Alan Gibbons (center/photo) had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation of County Chairs from the Irish Farmers’ Association (IFA) to the Embassy of Ireland in Prague. The group was led by IFA President Francie Gorman and Deputy President Alice Doyle (right/photo), as part of their recent visit to Czech Republic aimed at fostering international dialogue on agriculture and rural development.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on sustainable farming practices, EU agricultural policy, and the shared challenges facing rural communities across Europe. The visit also highlighted the strong people-to-people connections between Ireland and Czech Republic and the importance of strengthening cooperation in the agri-food sector.
