Honoring the Victims of Totalitarianism

Ukrainian ambassador (second from the front) honoring victims of totalitarianism

H.E. Vasyl Zvarych, Ambassador of Ukraine, took part in a commemorative ceremony at the Ďáblice Cemetery to honor the victims of the Red Terror and totalitarian repression from 1948 to 1989, on June 26. This solemn occasion serves as a poignant reminder of the countless lives lost to tyranny and the enduring importance of safeguarding freedom, human dignity, and democratic values.

The memory of those who suffered under totalitarian regimes unites us across borders and generations. It is our shared responsibility to ensure that such atrocities are never repeated.
